As published on its official website, Eurofins Clinical Testing Lux Sarl, a subsidiary of Eurofins Scientific, has acquired Genetic Testing Service JSC (known as GENTIS), a pioneer in genetic testing in Vietnam, making GENTIS a foreign-invested enterprise.

GENTIS is the market leader in specialized genetic testing in Vietnam and was founded on the principle that technological advancements in DNA testing should be accessible and affordable to everyone. The joining brings GENTIS benefits from the diverse clinical testing systems of Eurofins to its portfolios of products and experimental successes. It is an opportunity to access the global market.

Eurofins Scientific believes the joining of GENTIS is a milestone step in its strategic expansion in genetic testing markets and making its influence in South East Asia more active.
